*My Story

I earn my daily bread

as the Communications Coordinator for OTM.

How my leadership has changed as a result of OTV

I am what you might call a Verger by default. I was thrown into the position of Program Coordinator for the ArtLinks After School Programs without any real knowlegde of what I was doing or who I was representing. Through the guidance of my peers and mentors - and a lot of soul searching - I am undergoing my own OTV experience. My leadership looks very different than it once did. I feel powerful in a way I never felt I could. Because OTM continually makes me put my own leadership to the test - I have no doubt that I can.

Where I’ve come from and where I expect to be in the next 3-5 years

I come from a rich background in photography and journalism. The last few years of my life have been an artistic pursuit of journalism, photography and film. My experience working with OTM's arts integration program has given me new perspective. I hope to further my artistic pursuits through my work as a documentarian and visual communicator.
