During the first two years of On The Verge we discovered that personal and professional development of young leaders was far more effective when we worked in tandem with the Vergers and the organizations that employed them. Having input about the expectations of the organizations and the learning needs of the Vergers was critical. Additionally, it made a positive difference when the organizations allowed Vergers to try out new ideas and new ways of working.
